Assessment of Phytochemical Content and Antioxidant Activity of the Extracts Collected from the Leaves and Flowers of Hypericum scabrum

To study the bioactive substances of H. scabrum, ethanolic and aqueous extracts leaves flowers were analyzed for their phytochemical contents antioxidant actings. The potiential was estimated using four methods, including DPPH radical, ABTS decolorization assay, reducing power total capacity. results exhibited that flower contain higher amounts flavonoids (4.675 mg. g-1) saponin (29.572 mg.g -1) contents, whereas, water extract hold less amount compounds (1.223 g-1). Similarly, our exposed activities detected by methods flower, evidently better than rest extracts. Significant high relationship noticed between phenolic activity, flavonoid content inhibition assay. Principal component analysis reveals 91.49 variance which indicates different well distinguished substance effects.
